Google Opens up Adsense for Domains

gTLD Price Control Battle

Veteran domainer George Kirikos noticed some potentially disturbing language in ICANN’s draft of new Generic Top-level Domains (gTLD) contracts.  In his post on CircleID, he notes section 7.3:
Price controls have been removed for 2008 in favor of the transparent pricing model outlined above.

DN Media Sells DNW.com

DN Media Corporation sold one of its premium three letter domains, DNW.com, for $11,500.  The buyer was Domain Name Wire, a popular news source for the domain name industry.  DNW.com will forward to DomainNameWire.com, and will serve as gateway to the site that is easier to remember and quicker to type.
